HI! Thanks for joining me here. My name is Charlie, I’m a 23 year old woman living in the UK.
My first ever travel story is kind of crazy. So I got my first passport when I was 19 years old, the same day my passport arrived, I booked a month long volunteering trip in Cusco, Peru… I had never left the UK before. I fell in love with travel, culture and experiences and from that day on, my feet are never still. Any opportunity I get, I am out the door and on a plane, bus, train, whatever it takes and I am travelling somewhere new. Peru was in September of 2022 and since then, I have been to 16 different countries. Mostly Europe but this year, I am travelling to a new continent for the first time so stay tuned for that!
In August 2024, I started dating my fiancé, Dave and since then, we have travelled to 6 different countries and have been on 4 trips in total together so far and have no plans of stopping anytime soon.
I created this blog as a way of sharing my experiences and knowledge with people but also as a way of us having our own little corner of the internet with all our travel adventures stored to look back on in years to come. We are not super serious people, I don’t want this blog to be perfect all of the time because that’s not reality. If I look awkward, its because I am, sometimes we’re silly and sometimes we do thinks that you probably wouldn’t really expect but we love the life that we are building together.
